I should also point out that if they are not teaching the true faith then they have ultimately accomplished nothing. The salvation of souls is the most important aspect of bringing up a child. You would have them brought up by secularists with government money telling them how to raise a good little slave instead of leaving it to the realm of charity and the church who could foster not just life, house and food, but also spirtual wealth aswell.

Aside from us waiting for the announcement of your child you accepted from the foster care system you truly do not have any idea of what your are talking about.

You are presuming that these children who are in a foster care system are there because providers are money grubbers. As I posted and you did not read, obviously that is ludicrous. You also for some reason believe that these people do not care in filial love these children that are in their care. Some of these children are in a provider's home for a very short duration, sometimes until they're 18 or some other stable home enviroment opens up for them. Charity can have benefits for those giving care to the littlest of ones.

You have the gospel all wrong and your skewed in so much of what your saying it makes everything you say about this null. Didn't Christ himself say that children belong to the kingdom of Heaven? But you think they should be thrown away because the government is involved? Baseless and thoughtless posts.

Sigismund made an excellent point, are you not your brother's keeper? Shame on you.

Stop now before you continue to make an ass of yourself.

There are many uses of my tax dollars that annoy me.   Financial support to people who care for needy kids is not one of them.  Would you rather their mothers aborted them?  What is going to happen to these kids without foster parents?

BS argument, it is not my responsibility to care for their kids, nor is it the governments realm. If you organize a church run foster program or orphanage I'll put my money into the plate, that is true charity with true graces.

So, you are not your brother's keeper?  Well, throw in your lot with Cain if you wish.

    WTF did you just say?

I thought I was clear.  If you are offended, you understood me just fine.

Proof positive you are an idiot, considering it is you who commits the sin of Cain by believing that false masses are ok with God.

You are guilty of mortal sin from your post, slandering me and stating falsely that I have volunteered to care for a foster child.

In fact it goes to show you how your brain is warped from modernism, you have just attempted to volunteer me to care for a Foster Child just as you are trying to volunteer everyone else to care for them with THEIR money.

Considering your names is WisconsinsheepGIRL I would ask how you are paying taxes? Are you working? why?

It is clear you have socialist beliefs which run contrary to Catholic Doctrine. It is also clear you have Protestant Tendancies since you somehow refered to what I said as quoting Gospel, and I never once quoted the first four books of the New Testament, just Catholic beliefs that have been held for milennia.

Those tax dollars you supposedly are spending gain you no graces with God.

And you Seem to have everything backwards, if it is YOU who cares so much then you should be adopting 10 Foster children, or is it only easy for you to volunteer everyone else?

If the Church sets up a charity, I will give my charitable donations, but you and the government have no right to tell me what to do with my money.

And Lastly, I am not in any State. I am not American.

  • The above posters forgot to mention the massive cost in personal liability for foster parents taking care of children that have been sɛҳuąƖly and physically abused. I'll ask the above posters. What should be done? The street? Most of these children do not have families. Give them to charitable groups? Their are no longer any such groups. The idea that foster parents make a great deal of money is laughable.
