You have an agenda and it is not just to help people.
I need you to say that again.

To a person like me, it looks like you are trying to look more holy than everyone around you.
Indeed, to an evil person this is how it appears.

Why would I try to appear more holy? That would be offensive to God, and hence a stupid thing to do in light of eternity. At Judgement Day, every one will see who I really am, so why pretend now?

If you must know, I thought it would be a good way to show those who are irritated by me that I am willing to post less if that would contribute to their peace of soul, and also to men who are justly irritated at women talking too much, I wished to show my willingness to be silent if that means it would console or encourage them in this feminist world of ours.

Catholics know women have been given too much of a voice in the West. This is a detriment to all nations afflicted by this pathology and inversion of the social order. Should not a trad Catholic website be a safe haven from this error, therefore, should CI restrict females to a limited number of comments each day or week?
Matthew, the owner, has said that this site is supposed to be like a virtual "Coffee and Donuts Hall" and a chance for traditional Catholics to socialize online.  There is a difference between the private and the public spheres...

Men are supposed to be the ones speaking out in the public sphere like government, politics, economy etc.

Women are not supposed to be silent in regards to their families and friends.  Many women on Cathinfo have this site as their source for many who they call friends.

At social gatherings men and women are both supposed to play their part in cordial conversations.  This site being like a virtual "Coffee and doughnuts" gathering is a social thing and hence women and men should be allowed to discuss cordially together.

This is how I weigh in on the issue.

Just my opinion, but then again, I'm the owner of the site, so... I guess it's the only opinion that matters ;)

Seriously, you could have several HUNDRED actual human clones of Croix (not to be confused with sock puppet accounts of 1 man! LOL) who are bitter against women, and it wouldn't move the needle ONE IOTA. Why? Because CathInfo is a monarchy, not a democracy. Power is COMPLETELY focused in just one person. The only way to influence or take over in such a situation is to influence or take over that one individual. (Good luck! is all I can say about that)

We're so used to bad guys taking over the USA, etc. but we forget (or don't think about) how that is possible. It's through lobbying, money behind the scenes buying votes, money buying media influence and advertising, owning the voting machines, etc. None of that works on a 1-man site like CathInfo.

If that one man is stable -- and virtuous -- you're all set. St. Thomas Aquinas said that monarchy was the best form of government, all things being considered (including the fact that kings can be good or bad!)
