Perhaps the reason we haven't seen a rebuttal is Hoffman will respond to it in force, as he did when E. Michael Jones said his claim of the Church changing its stance on usury was an "illusion":

We'll get a "rebuttal" when Hoffman is dead and gone and can't respond.

These are some questions asked by Michael Hoffman:

1) Why is usury no longer a sin ?
2) Why are there images of Hermes Trismegistus in the papal appartements and in Siena Cathedral ?
3) Why did Johannes Reuchlin defend the kabbalah and тαℓмυd, whilst destroying the reputation of Johannes Pfefferkorn, an ex jew who at great risk revealed their secrets  ?
4) Why does Johannes Reuchlin dedicate his 1517 "De Arte Cabalistica" to his Holiness the Pope Leo X ?
5) Why was the finest ever print edition of the тαℓмυd printed by Daniel Bomberg in Venice in 1519 ?
6) Why is Biagio de Cesena, displayed in the Sistine Chapel with a snake eating his penis, just because he rightfully complained about the scandalous decoration by Michaelangelo ?
7) Why are there 4 obilisks in Rome in front of different churches including St Peter's ?

Some of the comments under your linked article provide at least a partial rebuttal and then as can be seen Hoffman responds to them.
