The reparations and race thing is all from the Communists within the country.  Lot's of it instilled in the school and universities where Communists have been infesting for a long time.

Maybe not if they thought about it.  Europeans suffered great hardships for a long time to build North America .

Not quite the same.  And the passage over here, for Africans, was beyond horrible.  What little of the film Amistad that I have seen, if I were black, would make it very difficult for me ever so much as to be in the same room with white people.  When we're looking for things to be thankful for, among those should be the fact that most American blacks are, aside from their support for pro-abortion politicians (i.e., Democrats), fairly conservative, very forgiving Christians.  If they were Muslims, or convinced, true-believing, atheistic Marxist-Leninists instead, that would not be good for white people at all.



Okay, just to get it out of the way, Steven Spielberg, Jєωιѕн propaganda, exaggerated, distorted, the exception to the rule, because...?

The African American suffered too for a longer period of time BUT the present day blacks have a lot of opportunities available to them IF they work to take advantage of them.  Governments and people have been making excuses for them ever since the cινιℓ ωαr and making reparation in many ways.

More opportunity, advantage, racial solidarity, "you can do anything" self-boosterism than they know what to do with --- as long as they avail themselves of it.  Staying away from crime, drugs, and unwanted pregnancy would help.  And they have massive self-esteem.

As for my comment, it was sort of tongue in cheek but in reality would present day African Americans prefer that their ancestors never came?  Would they prefer to live in Africa today?

I do think some would prefer to live in one of the more prosperous African countries, be in the higher echelons of those countries, and have comfortable middle-class lives in their ancestral homelands, among people of their own race.  Hard to blame them.

Whites are always accused of being racist but African Americans have their own colleges, Miss Black Universe etc.  Isn't that racist?  They demand inclusion into everything but are quick to deny the same to other races.

They're not nearly as prominent, but various white ethnicities have had their own colleges --- Finlandia College in Michigan, the former Alliance College (Polish) in Pennsylvania, and there are some smaller "work colleges" that cater to Appalachian people (who are overwhelmingly white), such as Berea College and Alice Lloyd College in Kentucky, and Warren Wilson College in western North Carolina.  A black person would never be barred from any of those colleges, but by the same token, it's not unheard of, for white people to attend HBCUs.  Some HBCUs have become majority or near-majority white (Kentucky State University, West Virginia State University, Bluefield [WV] State College).

And I don't understand why they call themselves African American  while even recent immigrants just call themselves Americans.

Distinct identity, again, hard to blame them.
