Clicking on the 3 dots will give you a "Not interested" button. Clicking that will tell Youtube to not recommend you (AND anyone else with similar viewing habits) that garbage.

Google/Youtube's goal is to keep you on the platform for as long as possible, so the algorithm tries to only recommend stuff it things you might actually want to click on/watch. Sometimes it needs some nudging though.
