Christ asked the disciples who people say He is and then who 'they' say He is (Matthew 16:13-15)... some of them gave incorrect answers too... I guess what Christ should have done was said He was God Incarnate right there and then demanded the others to submit to that on pain of death lol. In fact, Christ was rather allusive at times as to His true identity, instead wishing for people to discover it themselves, even Pontius Pilate, do you say this of your own accord or has someone told you this...

My username is predestination because it’s the first thing that came to mind, I have posted about other things. Predestination is not obscure and is very important. I will talk later.

Matthew, now I am able to talk

i named myself predestination as it was the first thing that came to mind and is a rich and beautiful dogma of the catholic faith.

i have posted about other things since I joined the forum including 1. Jonah and the great deep on FE 2. Good male resistance monasteries and 3. Controlled opposition. I am on no “crusade”.

i simply wanted to share a book written by Fr Reginald Garrigou Lagrange (who levitated and was likely in the unitive stage of the interior life and is called the greatest thomist of the 20th Century) about predestination

I added a side note that predestination is a catholic dogma and quoted two of Ludwig ott’s de fide statements to prove it so that people wouldn’t dismiss the book as bad. The fact that the first comment or called predestination “fake” simply confirms the need for my note about it being a dogma.


An Matthew I am guessing you know that predestination is catholic, and about Thomism Molinism the de auxillis etc, who why do you call predestination an “obscure theological idea”

This is irrelelvant the two statement I posted were de fide dogmas, again you just have to believe them. 


  • God, by His eternal resolve of Will, has predetermined certain men to eternal blessedness. (De fide)
  • God, by an eternal resolve of His Will, predestines certain men, on account of their foreseen sins, to eternal rejection. (De fide)

It's always fun when some bright, eager young fanatic joins the forum and just hits the ground running like this, trying to get on the bad side of as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time.
