    Popular razor blade company Gillette has once again turned to social engineering to promote its brand.
    Gillette’s newest ad features an older man showing a very masculine-looking youth, who is in fact female, how to shave her face.
    Speaking in a slightly gravelly, classically male voice, the African-Canadian protagonist says, “Growing up, I was always trying to figure out what kind of man I wanted to become, and I’m still trying to figure out what kind of man that I want to become.”
    This is the second of recent Gillette ads dedicated to beaming radically different ideas about masculinity into American homes. Earlier this year, Gillette released an ad lambasting men for “toxic masculinity.” While showing unpleasant stereotypes about male behavior, it asked, “Is this the best a man can be?”

    That’s my favorite razor, however I’m done buying from that company.

    I just don't go through that many razors. I only shave every 5 days, and it's not my whole face. So I save a lot on razors.

    • My husband has not shaved his face since 1993, when he started attending the Melkite Catholic Church, so he has saved a lot over the years.

    Not only do I give him monthly hair cuts, but also I help him trim his beard, especially the sides. However, he trims his moustache regularly so that he does not catch food in it. Calculate the savings. We do not have to go to the beauty salon for hair cuts or beard trims, nor do we have to buy razors or other shaving supplies. We save gas, time, and money.
