  • McDonald's is coming out with nostalgic adult happy meals to cater to man-children...

It's astounding how many people my age I know that aren't even married or have a home and behave like adolescents.
"Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof." [Matt. 6:34]

"In all thy works remember thy last end, and thou shalt never sin." [Ecclus. 7:40]

"A holy man continueth in wisdom as the sun: but a fool is changed as the moon." [Ecclus. 27:12]

  • I’m pushing 40, the same is still true at my age.

I used to be one of those perpetual adolescents.  Then God called me to marriage, and now I’m trying to get as far away from all that as I can, as fast as I can.

For those still living that lifestyle: my biggest regret is not growing up sooner.  A man, for the most part, can only marry a woman so much younger than himself, so the later he marries, the fewer children God will bless him with.  “The night cometh, when no man can work.”  To quote The Sinner’s Guide: “While your fellow Christians are enriching themselves for Heaven, you are idling away your time with the childish follies of the world.”  I would give anything to get that time back.  Don’t make my mistake.
