Although I do not have any references, only discussions my father had with his parish priest before he (my father) escaped from Eastern Europe - the number 7 and 8 have great significance in Jєωιѕн Kabalism.

There are 7 days. The 7th day signifies completion i.e. end of the week. The 8th day is the beginning of a new week, i.e. new era.

If you objectively look at all the anti-Catholic revolutions in the past they usually begin around  a "7" and completion and the beginning of new era begins around an "8" notwithstanding impediments that may have arisen.

Btw, Classicom, if Holy Church is NOT infallible, why follow her at all?  If it only lasted until 1054/54/1870/etc, what use was it at all?

Papal Infallibility is part and parcel of Ecclesial Infallibility.
