    • I've heard of at least one parish -- don't know if it's trad or not -- being told they must wear masks upon reopening for public Masses.  Have you heard or read any such thing for your location?

    How could this possibly work for a High Mass with a schola and sung responses?  Explain how Holy Communion works. 

    I consider this all undignified and unsupportable on many levels and for many reasons.  

    Also, where is the justice in allowing only a first-come/first-served Mass By Reservation Only?  Talk about commercializing the Holy Sacrifice -- making it into a profane commodity and excluding those souls with equal right and need to assist.

    (I'm told that all of these "modifications" will go into effect when public Masses resume.)

    • I wouldn't mind as I don't think it is important. I have to wear a mask everywhere else. Better to wear a mask than have no Mass to go to. Obviously one would be allowed to take the mask off for Communion. Wearing a mask is not receiving Communion on the hand.

    Especially since the masks do not bear the correct colour for the liturgical season.

    There is definitely a head addition apparel on Our Lord that does make it look odd...more of a gag than mask;and that says volumes!

    • The irony here is that the N.O. "mass" has been masking as the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass anyway for years.

    One more reason not to partake in this mass fraud.
