President Bush nominated an Orthodox Jєω to be U.S. attorney general.

Michael Mukasey, a retired federal judge from New York, is a conservative who has criticized Bush administration policies that have kept detainees from consulting with lawyers.

Democrats have praised Mukasey, and his selection represents a shift from Bush's combative defense of the most recent attorney general, Alberto Gonzales, who resigned last month.

Mukasey's Jєωιѕнness became an issue when a defendant in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing filed a motion to remove the judge, arguing that his allegiances to fellow Jєωs and Israel would create a bias against Muslim defendants. The motion was dismissed as "utterly irrelevant."

Mukasey's wife, Susan, is a former headmistress of the Ramaz Lower School, an Orthodox Jєωιѕн school in New York City.
If confirmed, Mukasey would be the second Jєωιѕн attorney general. The first, Ed Levi, served under President Ford.

  • Why don't we just pitch the old red, white and blue and run the Israeli flag up.  It would be the first honest thing this country has done in donkey's ages.

The other day I saw a British flag flapping in the breeze just under the Americn flag.  This was at a private residence.  Looks like we fought that war for independence for nothing.   :really-mad2:

  • Is there any other grievances other then religion ?

Any display of bias in the '93 bombing trial ?

I don't know the character and am looking forward to the hearings.

  • Vandeler, for crying out loud religion has nothing to do with it.  It is no secret that the Israeli troublemakers and rulers of this country are NOT religious.  They are political, period.  Get a clue, Vandeler.

  • Have you ever heard of Moranos?  These Jєωιѕн Americans in political positions these days are political Israelis.  They often hold dual citizenship, but regardless of that, their loyalty is to Israel, not America.  Their agenda is to promote Israel's interests and to actively destroy America---if only as leaches.  Watch this puppy promote the Noahide laws and other laws detrimental to the American people.  Sometimes, Vandeler, you don't have to examine a skunk to know that he can and will give you a dose of what they are famous for.

Well, I disagree with that.  Trace amount of what you are suggesting would be in his professional record if it where the case and may I remind you that he is coming out of retirement... his legacy is there to examine and I will look forward to learn more about him.

I have not liked many of Bush's nomination, so this is not a case where I am rooting for him, but I do afford him the dignity anyone should be entitled, prior to scrutiny.

  • Groan!  Check out the moranos.  I think I have that right.  Anyway the Jєωs who "became" Catholic for the sole purpose of bringing down the Church.  Think you the good men of the Church did not "check them out" and observe them and their record?

And while you are affording him the benefit of a doubt he will be working his wonders.   AG is a VERY influential position.  Laws are not made by congress as much as they are made by law enforcement.  And if you don't believe that I will tell you the story of how we went from middle class to middle poverty.  And check this out.  We the people can change laws, too, when we sit on a jury.

  • Regardless, if you hint he is some type of legal morano, little can be achieved with the current line of reasoning.
You're trying to argue, that his character can be judged with your own sweeping generalization of all Jєωs.

I'm not being stubborn;  I just observe that your thinking is not well seated in logic.  That don't mean you're wrong.  But, if you want to make a convincing argument, it will require more effort.

    Finally done Editing

  • Tell me first, Vandeler, how many times do you have to make a mistake before you learn your lesson?  Honestly, now.  No fudging.  Then I will take up your challenge, if it's worth my while.

  • Isn't orthodox another way of saying lubevich, or however it is spelled.  The rampant noahidists.

I believe they all look to the тαℓмυd which has the noahide laws for the goyim.

Not many times.  Speaking of repeated mistakes, I wonder if you noticed you misspell my name often in the same fashion.

Don't take up to much of your efforts.  His record will be scratched and probed by people with far more resources then you can ever dream of garnishing.

If your intent is, as you hinted to associate Michael Mukasey with other Jєωs, just on the basis that he is Jєω himself, please spare yourself, as I already pointed out that Dicto simpliciter arguments won't fly with me.

  • In essence, my question as been answered. It is only on the basis he is Jєωιѕн.  No need elaborate.
