Title: Opus Dei: 100 fraud from beginning to end
Post by: LaughingAmigo on April 13, 2016, 02:51:42 AM
Is anyone interested in more evidence that Opus Dei, and even the Opus Dei "Awareness Network", are frauds?

I think I have some.

Inline images don't work, so here's a link:

ΟΨ

That's OPS, Greek for Eye.  If you use the Omicron as a cookie-cutter on the Psi, you end up with what is virtually the Opus Dei logo (upside-down).

OPOS is also Greek for Eye, which adds a whole 'nother layer of meaning to Opus Dei ...

Is it the Work of God or the Eye of G-d?

That is the question.

I'm sure JezusDeKoning will be able to answer it for us.

Uh... first of all, never mention my name again.

Second of all:

Opus: work
Dei: of God (e.g. Introibo ad altare Dei - I go unto the Altar of God)

Why would you assume I know anything about them? I know that there's a group called Opus Dei and literally that's it.

Wait, why did I get downvoted? Upon doing some more reading, I can guarantee that the name is certainly a misnomer, but that's all I know about it.

Opus Dei are an aggressive neo-Catholic take on Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ. Their hypocrite founder Josemaría Escrivá got an Indult from Paul VI to continue to hear the Mass of Ages for himself, when the society itself is deeply hostile to Tradition.

Funny you didn't catch my mistake.  oψ sounds the same as ωψ (eye) but is not technically the correct way to write it.

Did you see that video on YouTube where he tells a Jєωιѕн girl she has baptism of desire so she doesn't need to try to get baptized?

Really came off (to me) like a prearranged publicity stunt.

I believe telling Jews and Muslims that they don't need to get baptized because they had Baptism of Desire was common even among pre-Vatican II priests. It seems presumptuous to me, but what do I know.

Haha, actually I was mistaken about being mistaken.  Both spellings are legitimate according to Wikipedia!
