Straight to heaven? If not, then almost. Who can fail in admiration!!

John 15:13

"Greater love than this no man hath, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

Admiration, certainly.
But be careful not to fall into the [NO] belief that deciding not to kill another person to save your own life automatically makes you a saint.

The only ones we know for sure that went straight to Heaven are the Church declared saints. Although it is surely an admirable story, it is important not to fall into the sentimental modernist trap.

In such a circuмstance, perhaps prayers and joy might be more appropriate rather than a doctrinal lesson!

John 10:10

"I am come that they may have life, and may have it more abundantly."
