    • Unfortunately I myself watched this movie when I was younger (I was about 10 or 11 at the time and my folks didn't care what I watched) and as I'm sure anyone knows they made a whole 7 or 8 movies about this child molestor and murderer (Freddy Kreuger) who murders children in their dreams. What's probably the most sickening aspect is that they made this villian into the "coolest villian of all time" by giving him some lame humor or whatever as if a vile bastard like that is "cool."

    So yet again we have another crap movie and another example that in cultural life we are like Weimar Germany.

    • Yup.  It's really disturbing.  I'm in the same boat.  Saw it and other movies when I was a kid.  

    The glorification of Freddy Kruger is symptomatic of the culture these days.  They think it's so cool that this guy comes to kids in their sleep and kills them.  Typically it's the non-virgins he kills.  I think that E. Michael Jones mentioned those movies in one of his books, Monsters of the Id.
