In space nobody can hear you scream, but back on Earth in the RT comment section the outcry of reality-rejecting flat earthers is loud and clear. Space exploration is a conspiracy, they say, and not even a groundbreaking spacewalk 360 will convince them otherwise.
The first-ever 360-degree footage captured during a spacewalk gives people an astronaut’s eye view of the planet from outside the International Space Station.

.
There is a little circle in the top left corner with 4 ^ marks (up, down, left, right) and you have to click on those 4 arrows to make the camera angle move up, down, left, right and rotate. It rotates when you switch to an adjacent arrow after reaching the limit of the previous arrow.
.
No matter which direction you position the viewer the earth below appears with the same curvature all around it so it's verifiable this is not due to any distortion. Plus, all straight lines in the foreground remain straight lines.
.
You have to watch out for the little circle moving up and down all by itself while you're looking at the picture, because if you click your mouse without looking at where your mouse arrow is pointing you can be clicking on something you didn't intend to click on since the little circle has moved while you're not looking at it.
.
This might be too sophisticated for a lot of viewers who are used to non-interactive movie-like pictures.

Interesting.

That's a lot of flat earthers out there.

I'm sure Russia Today was not expecting that reaction.

RT has released the first-ever 360-degree footage shot by man in outer space, putting viewers in the shoes of two Russian cosmonauts launching nanosatellites from outside the International Space Station (ISS).

The video, which shows out-of-this-world views of Planet Earth, is the first time that the so-called extravehicular activity (EVA) has been filmed in 360. The immersive new format previously helped viewers explore the ISS modules as part of the Space 360 project.

Cosmonauts Sergey Ryazansky and Fedor Yurchikhin captured the breathtaking scenery while doing their 7.5-hour spacewalk in August, which included maintenance tasks and the launch of five miniature satellites.

Check out our 360° video on your mobile device, opening it with the YouTube or Facebook app. The RT360 app is also available for download (Apple | Android).

Ryazansky and Yurchikhin can be seen hurling a pair of Tanyusha nanosatellites, as well as a round Sputnik-like TS530-Zerkalo that will be taking measurements in low Earth orbit, just out of the way of the space station.

All the while you can follow the flight of the ISS, with beautiful blue oceans and impressive land masses opening up all around.

The Tanyusha satellites were created by students from the Russian city of Kursk, with the help of scientists and the leading spacecraft producer Energia. The Tomsk-TPU 120 satellite from the Siberian city of Tomsk was also launched that day. Amateur radio fans can now tune in to listen to Tomsk and Tanyusha satellites broadcasting multilingual messages at the frequencies of 437.025 MHz and 437.05 MHz.

RT’s awe-inspiring video was produced in collaboration with the Russian space agency and RSC Energia. It premiered on Tuesday during a special event at a VR theater at Moscow’s Museum of Cosmonautics. The event commemorated the 1957 launch of Sputnik-1, the first artificial satellite of Earth.

The video is the latest addition to RT’s panoramic collection, which includes over 130 videos made since 2015.

Just like at CI the RT site has been plagued by uninformed trolls making stupid comments and they're pretending (at least) to be flat-earthers. That's because diehard flat-earthers are much more content in their ignorance, and it shows in everything they say. One dunce calls himself "Truth" -- wonder who that might be? Oh, BTW they're having to completely overlook the work these cosmonauts are doing with satellites when the dunces don't believe satellites exist.
.
Some have mentioned the cosmonauts "throwing a camera away" from themselves, even while the site explains what it is that they're doing:
.
"Ryazansky and Yurchikhin can be seen hurling a pair of Tanyusha nanosatellites, as well as a round Sputnik-like TS530-Zerkalo that will be taking measurements in low Earth orbit, just out of the way of the space station."

You actually believe that fake crap? I'm surprised at you.

The next time you get directions using GPS keep in mind it wouldn't be working without the help of satellites.
.
Satellites more sophisticated than the ones the cosmonauts are seen launching, but satellites nonetheless.
.
GPS can't operate using cell phone towers. There isn't even any programs for using them.
.
The two radio channels they mention were not broadcasting previous to the new nanosatellites shown.
.
The frequencies of 437.025 MHz and 437.05 MHz.

If satellites actually existed you may have a point.
.
You have a lot of work to do. You should immediately start writing to all the organizations that operate via satellite.
.
Write to them all and inform them that satellites do not exist. I'm sure they'd like to hear from you!!
.
Don't send e-mail because some data transmission is made by satellite so you'd be contradicting yourself.
.
Use snail-mail to inform the employees of NOAA, NGS (National Geodetic Survey), the Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (COOPS), the Center for Satellite Applications and Research (SSAR), Coastal Services Center (CSC), Space-Based Positioning, Navigation and Timing National Executive Committee (SBPNT, NEC), National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior (NPS, USDI), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Coordination Committee on Great Lakes Basic Hydraulic and Hydrologic Data (CC/GLBHHD), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Professional Surveyor Magazine (PSM), U.S. National Spatial Reference System (NSPRS), The American Surveyor Magazine (AS), and the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping, Surveying and Land Information Systems (ACSM, SLIS).
.
BTW if you don't know what NOAA is, try "National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration":

.
.
If you really don't think satellites exist, the next time you go to pay taxes you ought to think twice because you're paying for satellites with taxes.
