  • I received this as an e-mail forward:

Friday afternoon my wife and I decided to go to Taco Bell for a late lunch. When we came out of Taco Bell at the corner of Junction and Foothills we saw coming from the direction of the police station, (about a mile ahead)  2 military type vehicles.  These suckers were huge, about ten feet wide, about 30 inches of clearance underneath them and about 35 to 50 feet long.  They appeared to have amphibian capability's.  They were plain, dark army green vehicles, unmarked except for a few numbers on them in a white strip about two feet long.  These looked very much like tanks except they had wheels instead of tracks.  I believe they were fully submersible.  They had a line of red lights clear across the top like a police vehicle but larger lights.  I was going to make a u-turn but I made a left turn instead just to get a better look at the first vehicle.  The driver who looked like an American just smiled at me like there was nothing unusual.  The hell there wasn't!!  It was then that I saw the second vehicle coming down the road.  My question is what is that type of vehicle doing in Roseville???  The lesson here is never go anywhere without having a camera ready for use.  This is not something I heard about or saw on the Internet.  It might seem like a small thing but my wife and I saw this with our own eyes less than two miles from our own house. Why, in this sleepy little community of Roseville would we have military type vehicles driving around town???  I mean, these were the type of vehicles you would only see in a warzone!!!
