  • Here are a few books on the Masonic fraternity - I had better start off with, in my mind, the best two:

The War of Anti-Christ against the Church and Christian Civilisation

“Lying is their rule, Satan is their God, and shameful deeds their sacrifice.”  Pius VIII, Traditae Humilitati Nostrae, 1829.

An excellent book. This is the reprint by the Britons Press with a foreword by Fr. Denis Fahey C.S.S.Sp.

    The Plot Against the Church

    M. Maurice Pinay's famous work on Jewry, Communism and Freemasonry. It's not complete, only going up to forty-two chapters of of forty-five, but it is fully OCRed and so quite useful by that merit alone.

I cannot vouch for the translation of the following encyclicals:
    In Eminenti
    Humanum Genus

I shall prepare some more - e.g. The Permanent Instruction of the Alta Vendita - if no-one gets there first.
Old-fashioned is good, modern is suicidal.
    - Bishop Richard N. Williamson.

  • The Permanent Instruction of the Alta Vendita
Forgive the dubious source, but I can vouch for the accuracy of the text and I cannot find it OCRed elsewhere.

This is a truly chilling document, prepared by the highest lodge of the Italian Carbonari and detailing their plans for the subversion and the destruction of the Catholic Church. Much of this has already come to pass.

The choice of title for this thread is unbecoming a Catholic.  Why bother delving into error and evil when the wrong spirit is driving?  If someone referred to me as a pompous ass, I'd hardly want to convert to his religion.  Also be aware that young people read CI.  Is name-calling and insult a good example?  Or maybe you ARE in your teens or early 20s?  If so, loose the attitude!  Pray for charity first, then you'll find you don't need to immerse your mind in evil.  If a dog poops on the kitchen floor, you don't study the pile to change his behavior.  You clean it up at once and train him to go outside away from the house.
St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.

  • Oh, yes, an important (very important) note:

I have given you some books which detail the pernicious influence of the Masonic sect across Europe, all written by staunch Catholics. Mgr. Dillon's book comments on the Permanent Instruction so I thought I would let you have. I notice, however, you say you already have some knowledge of what the Masonic sect is and why Holy Mother Church condemns it. I suppose you might have read some of the books I gave you. A layman like you or I emphatically needs to know no more than that and to keep a weather eye out for the plots of Masonry.

Good grief, do not go looking up anything actually Masonic - their foul ceremonies or pass-words or devilry. Any interest in 'the occult' is extremely dangerous. Stick to books written by Catholic authors if you must go any deeper than Dillon and Pinay (I can't see why) as any unhealthy interest in this sort of thing must be squashed at once. I never have and never will - I imagine madness or worse lies that way.

  • Archbishop Lefebvre's book "Against the Heresies"  has a lot written about the evils of freemasonry.

I don't know, but I'd guess they downrated due to the title which has now been edited.

I have sympathies for people named Mason.  :smirk: Unfortunately it's stuck in Google like that.

  • A sermon that was just posted on AudioSancto has some good references to Freemasonry, the founding of the US, and the Masonic/naturalist attitudes of some US Presidents

    http://www.audiosancto.org/sermon/20130707-The-Goddess-Liberty-versus-Christ-the-King.html

It's worth the time (16 min) because it makes connections between the forces of organized naturalism and the things we see in the US.

The "liberty goddess" and glorification of democratic self-rule that frequently shows up in post-revolutionary France and the US   is very much an outgrowth from the forces of organized Naturalusm and Freemasonry (aka the dethonment of Christ The King). I'm currently reading Liberty, The god That Failed by Christopher Ferrara and Patrick Brennan. So far it's a very good read. It kills many false myths such as the semi-deification and misrepresentation of the authors of the US Constitution as Christians, most were deists at best.

Some of the reviews at Amazon are informative: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1621380068/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=1621380068&linkCode=as2&tag=httpwwwchanco-20

First there is no attitude you're perception is off. To be frank I'm sick and tired of his attacks on The Holy Roman Catholic Church. The Bride Of Christ. In the name of charity. I have turned the cheek for 22 charitable years. God knows my heart. I have invited this pagan into my home time and again, only to have him continue to mock our Catholic shrines, and refer to us as a cult!! In the name of charity! Perhaps its time for him to pick up a dictionary. In the name of charity!  I/We have suffered in silence, and prayed for 22 years. In the name of charity! I will no longer tolerate his sacrilege of blessed sacramentals, in front of my children in my home. In the name of charity! I will have no one undermine my authority, or Catholic Faith in my own home, or in public when I have my kid's with me. In the name of charity! I will no longer tolerate his slurs against Our Lord, and Blessed Mother. In the name of righteous charity! I will not tolerate his lack of charity towards my wife, and have her berated for becoming a Roman Catholic cult member. In the name of charity! Nor will I tolerate his cheap shots, and ridicule because we homeschool. In the name of charity!

The spirit WAS, and IS CHARITY. Instructing the ignorant is a corporal work of mercy! I have pacified this pagan the same way some of The Faithful have, since the 1960's, and the destruction is immense. In the name of charity! The confirmation character gives me the power, and the right to perform actions that are necessary in the spiritual battle against the enemies of the faith. I am part of The Church Militant, my conscience is well formed, and when I commit a sin I have access to the Sacrament of Penance.

I have trained K9's on an elite level for twenty years. The analogy falls short because I have never had a dog poop on the floor. A dog that does poop on the floor is human error and I need to change owner behavior.

  • I am so grateful for everyone who has taken the time to furnish me with these link's and information. I have plenty of material to work through. Its a shame to because my brother-in-law does not lack for common sense. I have never met a more selfish human being in my life, and I have met many.

    Thank's again.
