    Here are some interesting facts about Venezuela that are easily searchable.

    Venezuela is a predominantly Catholic country with very strong laws against abortion with the exception being the life of the mother. Maduro has been critical of Israel calling it a genocide in Gaza and against Zionism.

    Maduro’s opposition, Maria Corina Machado is a strong supporter of Israel and wants to restore strong relations with Israel. She is more left leaning on abortion and LGBTQ issues.

    Most Americans I talk to are not buying that this is really about drugs and sanctioned oil takers.

    And it’s not about social issues, I just added that to highlight some differences in the two leaders.

    People voted in 2024 against foreign intervention and foreign regime change as we have seen far too many times how that’s turned out, it’s not good, and people are so sick of it.

    • This seems to me like Russia vs. Europe/US. Both sides are bad.

    What I do know is that a huge number of Venezuelans have fled their own country because they were starving. Venezuela was once a prosperous country, now it's one of the poorest in South America. I don't understand why the big guys told Trump to bother him, but I believe that Venezuelans do need a change of government.

    Venezuela's population is about 28 million people. So, this is a very high percentage of people leaving the country in the last 9 years. Definitely not a Catholic haven.

    The sanctions and economic warfare waged by the US for decades has badly hurt the VZ economy.

    • Do you actually think the demise of Venezuela is organic?- the US prompted by Israel placing sanctions and promoting poverty with the CIA  controlling the cartels and drug wars as WE USUALLY DO to destabilize and eventually overthrow a nation ....
    I can't believe that Catholic people can't see through this.

    Venezuela banned pornography
    Venezuela banned sodomite marriage
    Venezuela banned abortion.

    Should I be against this because Trump called Maduro an economic socialist and wants their oil and minerals?

    Now we will have a globalist/zionist picked by Netanyahu placed there that will install baby killing and sodomy!
    And the true refugees will be storming into America to destroy us which is exactly what the zionists want.
