A whole lot of spiritual capital was invested in this Fatima boondoggle. How many Club Infallible popes put their stamp of approval on Fatima ?
I was just listening to the Protestant radio host Sherry Shriner - (hardcore kooky but sweet) and she commented that the next pope elected is nothing to be concerned about. TPTB don't need a pope anymore, and that position's usefulness has been extinguished. That reminds me that scripture talks about the salt that looses its savor is useless and would be trodden on my men.

Classicom states "A whole lot of spiritual capital was invested in this Fatima boondoggle. How many Club Infallible popes put their stamp of approval on Fatima ? I was just listening to the Protestant radio host Sherry Shriner - (hardcore kooky but sweet0"
um, oke, so the Church was wrong on Fatima and we will rely on the opinions of a "hardcore kooky, but sweet" Prot???
Classicom further states "TPTB don't need a pope anymore, and that position's usefulness has been extinguished. That reminds me that scripture talks about the salt that looses its savor is useless and would be trodden on my men. "
well, Christ did not tell us we do not need a Pope anymore and it is not up to uss or Club InfalliClassicom to tell us neither.
Classicom, still have you on hide, but if the gloves are still off? if so, then-you are a heretic and outside the bark of Peter..
if gloves on, then, will say-you are wrong and hope you have a good day....

Saying something "reminds" me of a line from scripture is a fact. I am just sharing my thoughts , but if you seem to kill first with your heretic blade, and don't bother with real questions or proper understanding. I believe in papal authority, as long as it supports true Christianity.

This is depressing. I need Our Lady. Sherry Shriner is kooky.

Portugal is nearly 90 percent Catholic. However, only around 2 million of its 10.6 million people describe themselves as practicing Catholics and in recent times Portugal has drifted away from the church's teachings.
The depressing part about that is that ( what they believe to be ) the Church's teachings themselves are erroneous or borderline heretical and they don't even want to live up to the reduced standards of the pseudo-Church -- usually, I am guessing, because of the ban on artificial contraception. The "Church" has bent so far backwards to meld with the world that it could win a limbo contest in Jamaica, but people want more. This is why it's not only the Vatican II Popes I question but Pius XII with his three-hour fast ( people go longer than that between meals ) and other lax disciplinary laws.
I will keep mum on Fatima because it's apparently not the time for that hoax to be unmasked. I will be patient.

Isn't Pius XII the first Pope to officially pay homage to Fatima or to treat it as definitely real?
-
Pope Pius XI approved it in 1930 I think.

The current political/spiritual state of Portugal doesnt debunk Our Lady's message, but only indicates that something BIG is going to happen there in the future. The Aztecs were cannibal pagan savages one day and became zealous crusaders for the faith the next. The same situation could happen in Europe with the grace of God.
