Title: More mob justice from people who can't think

An Oklahoma couple, whose 3-year-old daughter died on Jan. 3 from cancer and had a 17-pound tumor, is facing manslaughter charges for their alleged negligence, the Lawton Constitution reported (https://swoknews.com/local/parents-charged-death-3-year-old-17-lb-tumor?fbclid=IwAR02UpvDYIeNvgSPKN1aXSBL0MT9FVrQQSKLx8GTrM8q6DkbseOb2Lf2Y9s).
Authorities in Lawton, Okla. responded to reports of an unconscious toddler at a camper home, according to the paper. The girl was unconscious but breathing and had a 17-pound tumor, the report said.

She was then taken to a hospital where she later died, the report said. First responders said at least six other children were living with the couple in the camper, the report said.
The child’s parents – Bonnie Beth Mills-Lilly, 42, and Henry Clarence Lilly III, 49 – failed to seek medical care for the child, authorities said. It was not clear where the tumor was located.
The couple was arrested and charged Thursday with first-degree manslaughter, according to the report. They face a minimum of four years in prison if convicted, the report said.
Lawton is about 90 miles southwest of Oklahoma City.

Likely they were on drugs, crystal meth or whatever.

I am horrified -- and a bit scared -- by the reactions in the comments.

Quote
"7 children and two adults living in poverty in a camper. Social services should have taken those children already. I’m sure this couple did not have insurance.  But there are hospitals that will take care of children anyway. What about Medicaid?  They might not qualify due to social security or disability funds. It is crazy how government assistance works."

"Why are they still living?"
Great, so now there's a minimum income, or standard of living, below which the State will graciously decide you don't get to have your children anymore. Does each kid have to have his own bedroom? What if you "fail" to give each child a cell phone? I bet the average middle class "2 child" couple would be horrified at the prospect of children being "cut off from communication" in this way. Don't you see where this kind of thinking leads? This could be a problem for big families...

Quotes like these were the most common. "String 'em up!" basically.

But these parents didn't DO anything. Cancer did its thing. It's not like they locked their daughter in a dark closet, beat her, or anything like that. But people don't reason or think; they EMOTE.

They want Government to legislate (or judicate) all suffering or tragedy out of existence. How can that happen and still have a SHRED of freedom in our lives? It can't. You have to choose.

Here are some of the comments I posted -- I got a few upvotes, but a LOT of people felt so strongly against me, they responded with posts of their own.

Today, jail time for parents because of an untreated 17 lb tumor. Tomorrow, mandatory jail time for not vaccinating your children. Brave new world!

It's unpleasant, but this world has all kinds of suffering and death that is no one's "fault". I know it makes us feel better to find a scapegoat for every tragedy, but sometimes tragedy JUST HAPPENS. You can't legislate or judicate suffering out of existence.

So cancer claims a victim, and the parents are treated as murderers?

So we're going to mix up people committing crime with polio or measles doing its thing. How is that fair? So the government is supposed to embark on a crusade to eliminate suffering and tragedy, jailing anyone who gets in the way? Where is freedom?

Child Protective Services (CPS) causes more abuse as they are involved in sex trafficking, in organ harvesting, and in child abuse by placing children in solitary confinement and/or or giving drugs to children to "calm" them down. Many of the Luciferian pedophilia rings now being investigated by the FBI and local police agencies involve CPS and local politicians. These filthy criminals need to be brought to justice.

Many parents are the innocent victims of big agriculture which is using Round Up and other cancer causing herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides, which cause cancer. Parents would rather not treat their children with painful chemotherapy, which can cause cancer to spread and can ultimately kill the child.  The three treatments of cut (surgery), burn (radiation), and poison (chemotherapy) often do not work.

If you have not watched this report yet, please do so as it may be taken off YouTube for its exposure of Luciferian human trafficking rings involving politicians and the CPS.

In Illinois you must have a two bedroom house/apartment by the time the child is two or else you could have issues. You don’t need  a bedroom for every child, but they can’t be over packed either.

Am I the only one thinking that a 17 lb tumor would have probably made its presence known in time for them to seek medical care for the child, possibly the life-saving kind?
