  • Why is no one talking about this?

Hospitals are getting more money for COVID cases and even more for ventilator cases. This is from Elon Musk's twitter and is propagated by Sen. Scott Jensen, R-Minn., a physician in Minnesota.

Jensen said, "Hospital administrators might well want to see COVID-19 attached to a discharge summary or a death certificate. Why? Because if it's a straightforward, garden-variety pneumonia that a person is admitted to the hospital for – if they're Medicare – typically, the diagnosis-related group lump sum payment would be $5,000. But if it's COVID-19 pneumonia, then it's $13,000, and if that COVID-19 pneumonia patient ends up on a ventilator, it goes up to $39,000."

Its a conspiracy on so many levels. READ THE ARTICLE! You should be enraged.

  • One needs to consider the entire article to get the whole story I believe.  The article reported that the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act provides for higher Medicare payments if a hospitalized patient is diagnosed with COVID-19, including a “probable diagnosis”.  However, the article ALSO reportes that:

"He (Senator Jensen) noted that some states, including his home state of Minnesota, as well as California, list only laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 diagnoses.  So, no “presumptive” or “probable” diagnosis in these cases, they are confirmed by laboratory tests."

"Jensen said he thinks the overall number of COVID-19 cases have been undercounted based on limitations in the number of tests available."

"There have been no public reports that hospitals are exaggerating COVID-19 numbers to receive higher Medicare payments."

"Jensen said he did not think that hospitals were intentionally misclassifying cases for financial reasons. But that’s how his comments have been widely interpreted and paraded on social media."

"Recent legislation pays hospitals higher Medicare rates for COVID-19 patients and treatment, but there is no evidence of fraudulent reporting."

The above are all verbatim quotes from the article.

It should also be considered that higher hospital reimbursements only apply to Medicare patients.  Medicare covers 56,170,000 or 17.4% of the population whereas 178,751,000 or 55.4% are covered by employer provided insurance.

  • No one in the media is talking about this aspect of the COVID-1984 issue because the media is the propaganda arm of the politburo.

Is everyone enjoying thier 30-day free trial...of one-world totalitarian government?

Tests can be flawed, either false positive or false negative. My understanding is that one will test positive for COVID if they have *any* coronavirus, not just THE coronavirus everyone's worried about. Also, it's possible that receiving a flu shot in the past 10 years will result in a false positive test for antibodies. So those things need to be looked into.

"Jensen said he thinks the overall number of COVID-19 cases have been undercounted based on limitations in the number of tests available."
I think Jensen is a shill. So we're even. Opinions are like *****. Everyone has one, and they stink.

"There have been no public reports that hospitals are exaggerating COVID-19 numbers to receive higher Medicare payments."
So what? So the media hasn't covered or published reports? Doesn't mean it's not happening.

"Jensen said he did not think that hospitals were intentionally misclassifying cases for financial reasons. But that’s how his comments have been widely interpreted and paraded on social media."

  • Ah yes, the pagan non-Catholics who deny human nature, original sin, and MORAL HAZARD.

Sorry, but if you start paying more for COVID patients there WILL BE more covid patients. That's human nature. Google "moral hazard".

  • Our pharmacist friend in Detroit, MI, he is a pharmacist inside his hospital and he phoned us 2 weeks ago that "they" are "bundling" their cases.  That is, if someone comes in and dies of a heart attack, records will show complications due to virus.  And he told us it is for more money.
