We make do with the qualities and defects which we possess. It is only natural that the people around us have their own problems and struggles. Some are lazy, some are gluttonous, some are prone to wrath, some are weak, some are stubborn. What matters for a Catholic is that we try to become closer to God, day by day.

I want to encourage others to be supportive and charitable. The world is already hell for Catholics. If we are harsh, it needs to be for someone's own good, not for the sake of humiliating them.

Every single one of our qualities comes from God, they are not ours. God will ask us, in Judgment day, "What did you do with the talents I gave you?"

This is all well and good, but if a man does not possess the qualities needed to be a leader, he needs to consider that he may not be "marriage material".  That does not make him a bad person, it may just be a sign that he needs to consider either the single life, or the life of a consecrated religious (not a priest).
