The way Hoffman worms around in scholarship can seem a little odd. It's like flip the board in chess. Lithuanian Father Justinas Bonaventura Pranaitis is less known but wrote about the тαℓмυd also.

The website there says, "Father Pranaitis was one of those 'liquidated' by the Cheka during the Bolshevist revolution in Russia." (((Wikipedia))) says he was defrocked and died of a heart attack.

Secret Societies is a great book, and I have the shorter version of Judaism Discovered called Judaism's Strange Gods, which is great as well.

Just rumors that he has abandoned Catholicism, is very sympathetic to protestant theology over Catholic, is very sympathetic to Jєωιѕн sentiments of persecution- just things I can't prove but have heard.
