If racism were defined as "the universal trait in humans to have racial preferences" then I could accept that there's such a thing as racism. But if it were defined in this way everyone would qualify as a racist, so it couldn't be used by hypocritical hustlers as a cudgel against certain groups and individuals.
Thanks for reply but you are missing my point. There is also NO SUCH THING as a 'racist'...
If someone can show a Church authority that condemns, forbids, canonises, beatlfies etc etc any person for either being a 'racist' or subscribing to any philosophy known as 'racism' then I will believe there is such a thing.
IOW-- I have never seen any Church Authority that even mentions these 2 things. I have seen the terms race and racial but have never encountered the terms racist or racism anywhere in my studies of Church history or docuмents. :cheers:
