Docs can't pride in themselves when some tragic illnesses have emerged that were unknown in the so-called "dark times before discovery of medicines" .
Simply look at Progeria (children getting old) and the phenomena of kids growing large hairs on their forheads and cheeks, look at all tratogened humans as an example. Personaly I prefer small-pox,plague and cholera to them.

Our sins have brought this upon us. He left us to our own devices since we claimed to know better than Him. We reap what we have sown.

I've often thought along the same lines. It doesn't take much for us to be impressed with ourselves. God must have a sense of humor and must pity us for our delusional minds.

Can't help but think that the end must be near as everything that has managed to be left standing is starting to crumble as well.
