A bunch of new undercover Planned Parenthood footage was released last night. Naturally, it's received almost no attention at all. As you know, I've committed to giving you the rundown on each new video as it's released, so I want to offer a few words on these.

I haven't watched it all. It's hours of raw footage leaked, apparently, by someone in Congress. The courts had censored the videos and blocked the Center For Medical Progress from releasing them, so some congressman or staffer went ahead and gave it to the media anyway. Anyone who defies unjust laws and judges to expose the murder of the innocent is a hero, and was certainly never under any moral obligation to comply with the law or the order in the first place. Planned Parenthood has no moral right to privacy. None at all. I applaud anyone who tramples on their privacy and sheds light on their atrocities.

Anyway, the videos are of course disturbing. One highlight is a panel discussion session with an abortionist at the National Abortion Federation's annual banquet of baby killers. The woman at the podium is answering a question about how abortionists and their anti-life allies should respond to pro-lifers who show images of aborted babies. The woman -- unnamed in the video, I believe -- makes some stunning admissions that absolutely destroy and debunk most of the arguments made by anti-lifers.

Here's a sample of the transcript:

"Ignoring the fetus is a luxury of activists and advocates... The women know what's in there. They're not stupid... I actually think we should be less about denying the reality of those images and more about acknowledging that, yeah, that's quite a truth. So, given that we actually see the fetus the same way, and given that we might actually both agree that there's violence in here, ask me why I come to work every day... Let's just give them all the violence, IT'S A PERSON, IT'S KILLING. Let's just give them all that... And then the more compelling question is, 'So, why is this the most important thing I could do with my life?'"

Wow.

This is an abortionist talking to other abortionist (who, by the way, appear to agree wholeheartedly with everything she says). Do you hear that, "pro-choicers"? Even the damned abortionists aren't trying to claim it isn't a person or it isn't killing or it isn't horrifically violent. They just think killing people is the "most important thing they can do with their life." Forget how utterly disturbing it is that anyone would call killing innocent people "the most important thing" they could ever do, let's just focus on the fact that pro-aborts who use the "clump of cells" argument do so despite the abortionists themselves saying otherwise.

In another video, a different speaker at the NAF meeting complains that she shouldn't have to report rape to the authorities. She thinks it's "conscription" for the State to mandate that the rape of minors be reported.

The creepiest and most gruesome thing in the batch -- possibly the most disturbing out of any that have been released, and among the most disturbing things I've ever seen in my life -- is footage of a different panel discussion, also at the NAF baby killer party.

A German abortionist is speaking to an audience, trying to explain how to morally rationalize the murder they commit every day. Some parts are muffled, and the accent is pretty thick (giving the whole thing an even more potent nαzι-like feel), but she appears to be reading comments from other abortionists struggling with the morality of baby murder. Here are some notable portions:

"Another said 'I find second term abortions grotesque.' Well, I'm OK with that [laughter]. It's not for you. It's for the women... you have to be strong and fight for them..."

"My coping mechanism is to focus on the BABY fetus. Reverence for something that WAS ONCE ALIVE AND NOW IT'S NOT. That's the hard part about this stigma..."

"An eyeball just fell down into my lap! And that is gross! [laughter]. But I say to myself, this abortion is going well, and it's going safely [uproarious laughter and applause]."

To review, a woman recounted killing a baby and having its eyeballs fall out of its skull. The room full of abortionists laughed hysterically and applauded. And, if you recall, these are people who fully admit the "fetus" is actually, in their words, a "baby," a "person," and "alive." They fully admit it is, again in their words, "violence" and "killing." Yet they find it funny and charming to hear about a dead baby's severed eyeballs.

I feel very certain that many of these people -- abortionists and abortion industry executives -- are demonically possessed. Or maybe that's almost wishful thinking. Maybe I still, after all this time, cannot bring myself to believe that human beings who are not insane or infested by demonic legions would not only kill children, but laugh and joke about it. How can a non-crazy, non-possessed person be THAT incredibly, profoundly, fantastically evil?

I can't understand it, but they can be. They are. The "how" is sin, we already know that. But there's just something about watching these women sit in folding chairs in nondescript hotel banquet halls, under florescent lights, with a tray of snacks on the table in the back of the room, talking calmly and even excitedly about stabbing children in the head. It sends chills down my spine. I feel like I'm looking right into Hell itself. And, in some ways, I guess I am.

You know, I would never presume to criticize the folks at the Center For Medical Progress. They are heroes, and they've done more for the pro-life cause than I ever have, that's for sure. But sometimes I do think they made -- we all made, really -- an error with how these videos were presented. They buried the lede, it seems.

The stuff about selling baby parts is terrible and outrageous, but maybe it shouldn't have ever been positioned as the headline. The headline is, or should be, the simply reality of what abortion is, how abortionists themselves view it, and just the general callousness and cruelty and sadism these people exude.

Planned Parenthood can play games all day pretending their tissue sales are really "donations with reimbursement." They can make excuses. They can change the subject. But they can't make excuses when their own doctors admit on camera to killing babies and then proceed to joyously brag of ripping children to shreds. THAT, to me, is the point here. That is what pro-aborts need to see. What we all need to see.

Pro-aborts: abortion doctors admit they are murdering human babies, and they think it's funny. How do you feel about that? Forget tissue sale. How do you feel about the fact that you are in favor of something the abortion industry itself describes as killing babies? How do you feel when you hear a room full of cackling psychos laugh and applaud at the thought of a dead child's eyeballs rolling around on the floor?

That's the question. That should be what we talk about when we talk about these videos.

Please consider praying outside of abortion clinics, offering pro-life counseling, planning prayer vigils, and volunteering at crisis centers.
