It is meant to look that way.

Look instead at the way the chess pieces were placed on the board before the first two World Wars, you will see that something very much like that is afoot today.

Remember, to many in the late 30's, it looked as though big bad Germany or Japan was going to take over the world...

You know BTNYC speaks some truth here. It was World War I and World War II which were, to borrow from Jacques Barzun, "the blows that hurled the world on its course of self-destruction."

These wars are directly responsible for the mortal blow to our civilization.

Actually it's abortion that dealt the mortal blow to our civilization. While Christians are only having 1 or 2 kids the Muslims are having 5-10 kids. While Christians (and dare I say many Catholics) are aborting themselves into extinction, the Muslims are populating the entire world.
