  • Let us look at what the Left has taken over these days

Hollywood and TV- always have had the Hollywood Left

Theatre- As according to Gramsci and Marcuse the theatre has been revolutionized into a leftist chamber.

Romance Novels, Magazines, Books, etc.- Unless you get some old books those are not safe to read anymore

Music- Besides classial music really I can't see music that is really safe to listen to

School- revolutionized into creating a generation of leftist children and teaching sɛҳuąƖ education

So I guess the only thing that is "safe" i.e. does not corrupt you, is to listen to classical music and exercise?

No, my friend, that's not all.

Besides listening to classical music and exercising, one can CREATE.

Draw a picture of Our Lady or one of the saints. Paint a landscape.

    Pray.

Write a poem in honor of Our Lord Jesus Christ or the Holy Trinity.

Make up a melody in your heart and sing it to the Lord. Who cares if
you 'can't carry a tune'? Read the life of Fr. Bernard Casey, who
was an awful violinist according to all accounts, but loved to play
before the Tabernacle housing Our Eucharistic Lord.

Take a walk and write down all the creatures and instances of natural
beauty you see. Turn that list into a prayer of thanksgiving to God
in unity with St. Francis of Assisi.

Learn to juggle, tie balloon animals or do some other 'trick' and go
bring joy to people in a hospital, nursing home or orphanage. I have!

Write Catholic-safe stories, even if they are short ones. Take the ideals
that are taught in Holy Scripture and the writings of the saints and Doctors
and use them to make up stories to inspire your Catholic family in our
    pursuit of sanctity.

Above all, take every chance you can to visit churches, chapels, shrines
or the homes of other faithful Catholics. Pray there, offer intentions and
all your daily efforts to God and beg His graces on you, your family, the
Church universal and those whom He will mercifully convert.

No, there's a LOT to do besides listening to orchestras or doing sit-ups! :)

I will both pray for you and join you in many of these endeavors. May Our
Lord God, in Whose power is the gift of all creativity, bless us + with inspiration
so that our creativity pleases and honors Him, through Our Lord Jesus Christ.

St. Francis of Assisi and St. Cecilia, poet and musician in Our Lord's honor, pray for us.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, triumph soon!

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
This evil of heresy spreads itself. The doctrines of godliness are overturned; the rules of the Church are in confusion; the ambition of the unprincipled seizes upon places of authority; and the chief seat [the Papacy] is now openly proposed as a rewar

  • I hope that going to a Renaissance festival is okay. I could  never afford to go just because, but my former coworkers treated me with a ticket.  I'm going with two other mothers and each of us have one child coming with.

There is some immodesty, but really not any different than what you'd see on a summer day at the zoo or a park.

I just love seeing all the pretty Tudor gowns, browsing the craft booths, and trying the fun food.

When I was younger I always HAD to dress in character. :)

You have to be careful about the moral filth of the 1960's movies, and even in The Song of Bernadette the Hollywood Left has it own propaganda back then as well, with Hollywood being pro-Communist by the late-1930's.

  • TradGuy20,  if you like history, are there any festivals/period reenactments in your area?

I think these are usually safe options for an outing with friends or a date.  A lot of people bring families too.

I'm debating going to visit one that some friends are characters in this weekend.  A few years ago I participated in it...dressed up, camped in a historically accurate tent, and my friend and I did cooking demos (potatoes and pheasant, skillet cornbread, skillet apple pie) in cast iron over an open fire.  The tourists walk by and ask questions and sample the food.  It was a blast.   I'd participate this weekend but I don't know about camping with the baby when it is cold out.  The spot I'd be in is also next to an incredibly LOUD cινιℓ ωαr cannon that they set off frequently.  That might get old.  A lot of little children do participate though.
