Accusing Michael Matt of being controlled by Jews and then doubling down on it is stupid, honestly. That’s your focus? Meeting of the minds over here.

I would go so far to say that this post and its supportive comments strikingly show a lack of Catholic zeal for Truth and a complete collapse of Catholic justice and charity. A Thomistic approach begins with the virtue of justice joined to charity: one must judge individuals according to acts and evidence. Not wild accusations of collaboration with the enemy. 

Calling Michael Matt a zionist or accusing him of having been controlled by Jews without clear proof is not a solid argument but a rash judgement, which Catholic moral teaching warns against because it assigns hidden motives without sufficient evidence. Rash judgement is objectively sinful.

In Thomistic terms (Summa Theolgiae II-II. q.60):

Judgement itself is not evil. We must judge actions using reason.

The sin happens when someone judges interior guilt or motives without adequate grounds. It becomes more serious when the judgement is about grave matters, publicly expressed and held stubbornly despite lack of proof.

Actively acting against Catholics and working for the enemy to sow deceit would seem to be the accusation against Matt. “Shameless drifter” was the term used. It was expressed here publicly and commenters refuse to accept any information to the contrary.

Aquinas teaches that rash judgement is objectively mortally sinful under those conditions and that it violates our justice and charity and treats our neighbor’s reputation lightly.

Thomism is the light that shines the way. Rejecting it is dangerous to your soul.

I recall seeing a montage of clips the Dimonds had put together of Michael Matt saying over and over, "St. John Paul II the GREAT!" 
I don't know how in the world anyone with the most basic understanding of the crisis could fall all over themselves referring to the Assisi
koran kisser in that manner.

My method here is the Thomistic method. Scholasticism. 

I’ve been a Catholic 42 years. In that time, I had publicly criticized many, including The Remnant. 

You can verbally attack me as “pathetic” or whatever hate-filled provocations you want. If my only charge is having injected Thomism into ever post, I wear that with Catholic honor. 

Attacking me with hate-filled provocations and name-calling is just really disdain for the Thomistic method. 

I won’t stop criticizing all who the Thomistic method allows.
