  • is equality a Masonic idea?
we all know that inequality is necessary for having order in the society.I know that a priest is a priest however sinful he may be,and because of his rank he can consecrated the sacred Host while a layperson or even a nun cannot do that however holy they may be.and it is not unjust.
but suppose that a layperson and a priest go to heaven with equal merits or even suppose that the layman is a martyr and the priest is not.will he be less than that priest in heaven?
or does our opposition to feminism mean that if a man and a woman have equal merits the man will be greater in heaven?
PS.I am sorry for my being so ignorant.

  • The above is a good question. I do not know if a Saintly layperson can have greater merit in heaven that a priest in heaven. It may be possible. I just answered my own question because Our Lady is greater than any priest and bishop in Heaven so I guess a saintly lay person can merit more in heaven than a priest. As you your husband and wife question, Our lady is higher in the heavenly court than St. Joseph her husband. Gladius or Chant can probably elaborate more on this question.

  • The  notion of equality that came out of the french revolution is a masonic idea and anti-Christian idea.

  • If the merit is equal, so is the reward - it is the same DEGREE.  This does NOT mean the reward is of the SAME TYPE/KIND.  For example, St. Paul's reward, being a priest, a virgin, preacher of the Gospel, etc., would be of a different KIND than that of, say, St Henry the Emperor or St. Louis IX, King of France.

There are many mansions in our Father's house.

Our Lady is the Queen, and her merits so far outstrip those of everyone else that it cannot be grasped.  The merit of a deed is based upon the intensity of the charity involved, not the state of life to which the person has been called.
"Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is all man."
