I've heard it argued many a time that the inverted cross is a symbol of St. Peter, while this is true, the Church has always used that image sparingly because of its widespread use in the occult. Some men defend John Paul II for appearing before anti-Christ Israel with a huge upside-down cross over his head, but stop and think. This man is supposed to represent to the world Jesus Christ on Earth, and he's appearing with a huge inverted cross right over his head? I mean if you want to defend him, why don't you nail an inverted cross to your door and see what happens. Because everyone just knows that the upside down cross is for St. Peter, huh?
