Bunch of idiots. They are proving their underlying belief in God through their actions. If they truly believe God did not exist, they wouldn't be wasting their time going through all this trouble to mock Him. Do you see non-believers having exhibitions deliberately mocking Santa Claus or going on tirades against martians?

Behind all of the "shock" behavior lies a cry of rage in these people and beneath that lies pain and hurt that they refuse to accept the cure for.

These types can only be healed through prayer and fasting...

Yeah, really, what do they want, for everyone to be like them? If the Universe is nothing more than matter and energy, then they (and us) are atoms, nothing more. Now, how can one "reason" oneself into such a belief is beyond me. Perhaps, deep down, they understand that such a belief (atheistic materialism) is not true, and as such, are acting like individuals, people who have morality, logic, and reason, and above all else, free will, something that mere "molecules in motion" lack.

People who go so far as to deny that the soul is immortal can never philosophically explain how a "pile of chemicals" or "molecules in motion" manage to cohere together in what we call "a living being". They can't create even the smallest speck of life.

But more importantly, they can't explain how man can understand things that are immaterial -- such as justice, truth, fairness, goodness, and why men all seem to desire to live forever.

Either we ARE going to live forever, or they're denying God's goodness by claiming that He gave ALL His beings a longing that will never be fulfilled.

Why would a pile of chemicals be able to transcend the physical world in any way? One cannot escape his own plane of existence. If we weren't half in the spiritual realm, we would have no concept of spiritual things.

It's been a while since I learned this stuff, so I'm a bit rusty at explaining it.

Alas... If The Church had the same amount of hatred for sins of flesh and immodesty, there would be no impurity in the whole universe. :nunchaku:
