    • For all of his rejection of the Faith, George Carlin actually managed to offer a fairly cogent explanation of the Church's teaching on mortal sin in one of his sketches.  He had been taught from the Baltimore Catechism and had it pretty down pat, even as he lampooned it.  You would learn more from that sketch than you would likely learn in RCIA.
