...say "Jesus!" "Oh Lord Jesus!" etc. so much in movies when there is danger or something bad happens? You would think they would entirely eradicate Our Lord's name from people's minds if indeed Jєωs run Hollywood.

You think they say it piously, or even like an earnest, panicked prayer? Guess again!

These sad excuses for human beings say the Holy Name of Jesus like one might say, "Oh shit!" or "For f-uck's sake!"

And then there's the omnipresent blasphemy, "G. D." which I hate more than any other sound I've heard human vocal chords produce. They use that particular blasphemy in place of the relatively benign cuss word, "f-ucking".

(I could bleep out these words...but we're all adults here, aren't we? Are there any homeschooled 10 year olds out there reading CI that are going to learn a new word today? I doubt it.)

Moral of the story: Ignoring God and Jesus Christ is not their goal. Blasphemy is always preferable for them. Satanists don't try to make everyone forget about God or the Blessed Sacrament -- especially themselves! They go out of their way to get their hands on a Sacred Host, so they can have a "Black Mass".

They promote blasphemy and the use of Our Lord's name in vain because it is a sin and they like to spread sin around. In watching actors blaspheme and take the Lord's name in vain the audience commits a sin. So they go into the theaters to watch Hollywood actors take the Lords name in vain and blaspheme and many times during the movies everyone in the audience commits sins by watching their filth.

Imagine one movie with blasphemies in it. Popular movies are seen by tens of millions of people. So one movie with blasphemies in it can cause tens of millions of people to commit mortal sins and be damned for watching their blasphemies. And many of them will commit even more mortal sins by imitating those evil movies and blaspheming themselves.

I'm sorry, but if I went to a movie and there was a blasphemous sentence in it, I do not accept that I also committed a mortal sin anymore than if I heard the blasphemy on the street. Hearing something is not a sin

As children we were taught when we heard God's name used in vain we prayed the Divine Praises.

If you knew there was a blasphemy in it and watch it anyway then you may have comitted a mortal sin. Just as if you know there will be impurity and watch it anyway then you may commit a mortal sin. And I would say if you did not know there would be blasphemy and then after you see there is blasphemy in the movie you do not walk out and stop watching, then I would say you sin also. Of course my opinion may be wrong because I am a layman only using my common sense.

Along with sweating blood, Venerable Father Germanus docuмents in his book "The Life of St Gemma Galgani" that on at least one occasion, Gemma immediately fainted upon hearing someone curse the name of God.

Taking The Lord's name in vain isn't blasphemy, and I was specifically referring to when there is danger or something bad happens in the movie, like in the plane crash scene of the 2012 movie "Flight;" I didn't see that movie but only that clip on YouTube; in that scene the copilot is freaking out because they're crashing and he says "Oh Lord Jesus" many times; I think the director of that movie may be a Jєω so I was wondering.

I wasn't referring to the usual obvious uses of the Lord's Name in vain, where they use it as an interjection.

When something bad happens or there is danger then Jesus is the solution.
