    Someone wrote, in response to this, "I don't think it is a good thing to use holy water to bless such items as ATMs or gasoline pumps. Just as you would never misuse a blessed item, such as a holy card or rosary, you would never want anyone to misuse a blessed item, even if it were an ATM machine. After it is blessed, someone may still withdraw money to use in a sinful manner. I think doing this is a very grave error."
