Peace be with you, and I don't know much about St. Pius V, but I find this statement "ridiculous". It's a form of exaggeration, which can be okay for rhetoric, but analytically it's poor and not very good pastoral work, imo. Where does this quote come from?
Lukewarm Catholics don't run international credit and finance operations on a massive scale. Jews do. The big circle of money power is behind "abortion rights" and so forth; and it's what has taken the advantageous position, with such pro-active intentions, to form the public mind. Lukewarm Catholics don't run credit, commerce, and collections. Lukewarm Catholics didn't reduce the Church from the Papal States to Vatican City, less than an average 18 hole golf course. The Freemason and Jews did.
If all the lukewarm Catholics go to Hell, well, that's one thing, but I doubt they'll go as deep as the Jews, Freemasons, Satanists, and communists, etc.
