Long-term effect of propaganda on impressionable kids

  • We were talking in another thread about kids being made to wear masks.

What effect will this traumatization ("We're in a pandemic!", "Put this mask on so you don't get COVID!!!", etc.) have on these kids when they're older?

    Consider this example:

Baby Boomers who were impressionable children when the so-called Moon Landings were televised -- particularly the first one -- have a super emotional connection to that "achievement". So much so, that if footage came out with a regular sedan driving by in the background (in the desert where it was filmed), or one of the "astronauts" taking off their helmet and smoking a cigarette while on break, they would simply ignore it, using cognitive dissonance. No quality or quantity of evidence will shake their faith in the Moon Landings, as they were so emotionally attached. For them, it's not just an event. It was AMERICA who won the "space race", it was THEIR GENERATION that made this ACCOMPLISHMENT, etc. It's all very emotional for them. They lived vicariously through their heroes, the astronauts. Years of boyhood were spent dreaming about exploring and colonizing space, etc.

But my point is: you could have a mountain of evidence, including some smoking guns, proving the Moon Landings are fake, and it wouldn't shake their faith. They would emotionally dismiss the evidence.

Now apply that psychological phenomena -- we're talking about the same Human Beings here, with the same emotions -- to today's children being forced to wear masks and being told by every authority figure "we're living in a pandemic".

I can envision a future age where everyone dismisses COVID as being a precursor to WW3, etc., and a big scam -- but a certain generation will want to believe it was a real pandemic -- because of how real it was for them. "We had to do school from home, wear masks everywhere, etc."

Long story short: no one wants to admit they were had, they were fooled, they were wrong. No one wants to admit they wasted hundreds of hours dreaming about something that didn't and can't happen. Just think about how foolish mask-wearers look to the red-pilled. I'll give you a hint: very foolish. Like muzzled sheep in diapers with thumbs in their mouths. That's how I see them. AND THEY KNOW THAT. If they ever had to admit they were wrong about masks -- much less the whole COVID scam -- they would have to admit they were really, really stupid. They'd need to have the humility to accept that they WERE that foolish: muzzled sheep in diapers with thumbs in their mouths. Who has that kind of humility? Not many.

When propaganda is later proven false, those who were young/impressionable STILL cling to it, because they are unable to admit they were duped.
