  • From the Douay-Rheims Bible:

All malice is short to the malice of a woman ~ Ecclesiasticus 25:26

From the woman came the beginning of sin, and by her we all die.  ~ Ecclesiasticus 25:33

A woman's anger, and impudence, and confusion is great. ~ Ecclesiasticus 25:29

It will be more agreeable to abide with a lion and a dragon, than to dwell with a wicked woman.
    ~ Ecclesiasticus 25:23

I have surveyed all things with my mind, to know, and consider, and seek out wisdom and reason: and to know the wickedness of the fool, and the error of the imprudent: And I have found a woman more bitter than death, who is the hunter's snare, and her heart is a net, and her hands are bands. He that pleaseth God shall escape from her: but he that is a sinner, shall be caught by her. ~ Ecclesiastes 7:27

Give no issue to thy water, no, not a little: nor to a wicked woman liberty to gad abroad. If she walk not at thy hand, she will confound thee in the sight of thy enemies. Cut her off from thy flesh, lest she always abuse thee.
    ~ Ecclesiasticus 25:34-36

The wickedness of a woman changeth her face: and she darkeneth her countenance as a bear: and sheweth it like sackcloth. In the midst of her neighbours, Her husband groaned, and hearing he sighed a little.
    ~ Ecclesiasticus 25:24-25

As the climbing of a sandy way is to the feet of the aged, so is a wife full of tongue to a quiet man.
    ~ Ecclesiasticus 25:27

A wicked woman abateth the courage, and maketh a heavy countenance, and a wounded heart. Feeble hands, and disjointed knees, a woman that doth not make her husband happy. ~ Ecclesiasticus 25:31-32

It is better to dwell in a wilderness, than with a quarrelsome and passionate woman. ~ Proverbs 21:19

Roofs dropping through in a cold day, and a contentious woman are alike.  He that retaineth her, is as he that would hold the wind, and shall call in the oil of his right hand. ~ Proverbs 27:15-16

It is better to sit in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman, and in a common house.
    ~ Proverbs 25:24

A diligent woman is a crown to her husband: and she that doth things worthy of confusion, is a rottenness in his bones.
    ~ Proverbs 12:4

That thou mayst be delivered from the strange women, and from the stranger, who softeneth her words: And forsaketh the guide of her youth, And hath forgotten the covenant of her God: for her house inclineth unto death, and her paths to hell. None that go in unto her shall return again, neither shall they take hold of the paths of life, That thou mayst walk in a good way: and mayst keep the paths of the just. ~ Proverbs 2:16-20

For the lips of a harlot are like a honeycomb dropping, and her throat is smoother than oil. But her end is bitter as wormwood, and sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down into death, and her steps go in as far as hell.
    ~ Proverbs 5:3-5

A golden ring in a swine's snout, a woman fair and foolish. ~ Proverbs 11:22

    -------------------------

There are more passages, but this should suffice in alerting men to heed God's Word by using prudence and discernment in their daily interactions with women.

Blessed be the Lord my God, who teacheth my hands to fight, and my fingers to war. ~ Psalms 143:1 (Douay-Rheims)

    The Words of King Lemuel
1The words of king Lamuel. The vision wherewith his mother instructed him.
2What, O my beloved, what, O the beloved of my womb, what, O the beloved of my vows?
3Give not thy substance to women, and thy riches to destroy kings.
4Give not to kings, O Lamuel, give not wine to kings: because there is no secret where drunkenness reigneth:
5And lest they drink and forget judgments, and pervert the cause of the children of the poor.
6Give strong drink to them that are sad: and wine to them that are grieved in mind:
7Let them drink, and forget their want, and remember their sorrow no more.
8Open thy mouth for the dumb, and for the causes of all the children that pass.
9Open thy mouth, decree that which is just, and do justice to the needy and poor.

I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel.

So the Bible confirms that this type of worthy women is indeed extremely scarce.

They are very rare and hard to find.
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

True. The Bible, basically, tells us that there is only one good man in every thousand men, but a good woman is almost nowhere to be found anywhere. A good woman is extremely rare. Much less than 1/1000.

Lo this have I found, said Ecclesiastes, weighing one thing after another, that I might find out the account, Which yet my soul seeketh, and I have not found it. One man among a thousand I have found, a woman among them all I have not found. ~ Ecclesiastes 7:28-29

  • Good men are also very rare,
    most especially in these days.
But good men and good women do not find each other, it is ultimately God who brings them together.
So in reality, the odds are nothing compared to the Goodness of God. There is an opportunity for grace for all.

But Humility is key because we may not even deserve a good man or good woman and therefore are not granted it by God. Or perhaps, and even better, it is a cross meant for a Saint in reparation for the sins of the End Times.

Those Scripture quotes about a virtuous woman, listed above by Viva, show us what we women should aspire to and are very inspirational indeed.
May God grant us the grace to walk this path graciously. Amen

  • Having a rough time on the dating circuit lately, Croix?  You seem a bit depressed; perhaps from too much sugar and white rice.

  • In my experience, I’ve met many women of good will who love God (in their own way) and have the potential to be very virtuous.

But...philosophically they are infected with feminism or modernism so their thinking is flawed, their goals for life are worldly and their understanding of religion is too emotional.  No man, however saintly he is (and I’m nowhere near such sanctity) can preach truth to a person who is not open to hearing the truth (even if they THINK they are open to it).  In other words, pride, the greatest deceit of the devil, is everywhere and our Joo-run-society is promoting this attitude especially to corrupt women.
