sadly, in many Trad churches, it does-though often quietly....go to mine nad a lot of "support the troops" and "we vote Pro-life, so vote McCain" type stickers.....

I agree with Beck, one should leave one's parish if their biggest deal is "social justice". It is INDEED a code word for liberalism/ socialism in the US Catholic Church.

Obviously I'm not leaving the "Catholic Church", but Beck's advice applies very well to parishes. The libs have stolen and desecrated the word "social justice" to where if you hear it now, run!

Trads should come up with another term for the Church's true social teachings as "social justice" may as well read "socialism" in the modern mind. It was a good word that evil people co-opted to label their nefarious ideology under the auspices of good.

Who here among us would not run screaming from an NO parish that had a banner outside proclaiming "we are a social justice Catholic Community"? I know I would. To these types social justice = pro big government = kiss Catholicism goodbye. Because once this atheistic, materialistic, utilitarian behemoth government gets enough power we're back to the catacombs.
