Dishonesty or stupidity?
« on: July 24, 2017, 05:57:02 PM »
The Orange Order has asked its members to stop using the term 'RIP' to express grief or sympathy after a death.

It said the phrase is unbiblical, un-Protestant, and a form of superstition connected to Catholicism.

Unbiblical to pray for the dead? :o

Who can have sympathy for these people? Or believe that their "churches" are also pathways to salvation, or conduits of grace?

If you're in the mood for a good cringe, read the rest of the article:

as to the title of this OP
both
it is so stupid to defy God.. to be in an organization that vows to kill you if they perceive that you are against "them."  Talk about the mind being darkened (and therefore dysfunctional--to say the least)
