Title: Fr. Ripperger on the Multi-verse, time, transgenderism, Silence
Post by: Geremia on July 09, 2017, 07:51:03 PM
Fr. Chad Ripperger joins us again for a wide ranging discussion of topics in Philosophy and Theology ranging from the Multi-verse and Time to transgenderism, Martin Scorsese’s film Silence, and Bishop Athanasius Schneider’s call for a new Syllabus of Errors to condemn errors in Ecclesiology and the misappropriation of the term “Priesthood of the Laity”.

This is a wonderful sermon. But have your coffee first, Fr R doesn't wait for slowpokes.

I heard the interview last month or the month before. It is very good. It was the most recent interview. I hope Dr. Ryan Grant posts another interview soon on the Athanasius Contra Mundum blog.

The priest and the professor give excellent talks on Catholic theology, philosophy, and history. Fr. Ripperger does particularly well in talking about evolution and psychology too.

It was an interview.
You're right. I used the wrong word. I guess I should have had my coffee before posting.

I wanted to tell you thanks for posting this. I bookmarked it for later viewing when I've got time. It's really an interesting topic. We should be watching out for small signs of hopeful waking up of our clergy. It gives me a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak. These men who have had years of education might have had one or two professors who were not entirely communist plants!

“However, the Church reaffirms her practice, which is based upon Sacred Scripture, of not admitting to Eucharistic Communion divorced persons who have remarried. They are unable to be admitted thereto from the fact that their state and condition of life objectively contradict that union of love between Christ and the Church which is signified and effected by the Eucharist. Besides this, there is another special pastoral reason: if these people were admitted to the Eucharist, the faithful would be led into error and confusion regarding the Church’s teaching about the indissolubility of marriage.” -Familiaris Consortio, no. 84.

Anyone interested in whether Catholics should pray with non-Catholics can go to minute 36, that's when the topic starts.

At the very end of the mp3 he gives three other places to find his materials, one of which is not shown on the page, Sensus Fidelium on Youtube:

That's about 3 weeks' worth of videos to watch, good stuff!
