Once again, if it's not about race, I almost always agree with you.
I had to shop quickly during the years that my husband was fighting "terminal cancer." Long before that, however, we had made efforts to boycott Chinese products, and could avoid Chinese products much of the time...
Recently, after my husband passed, I heard about notes smuggled out of China in products like Halloween decorations. One recent note read something like "help! We are enslaved at these factories!" And it had already been sitting in someone's closet for about one year... Though still dealing with family issues, I remembered our boycott.
Resolved to go back to checking every label to buy American toothbrushes, combs, etc., I recently saw that
everything has changed dramatically since my husband's first diagnosis:
there was NOT ONE TOOTHBRUSH (or any other similar product)at the top three stores made in ANY OTHER COUNTRY but CHINA, and that means nothing made in Mexico, India, the U.S. or any other country!
Shockingly: In recent years, a traveling display of "donated" human bodies has been a "big hit" in major American cities. They are
real human bodies, without the skin (having been peeled back and preserved in special plastic). They were marketed so as to display the "beauty of the human musculature and form." Physicians gradually discovered that they were nearly (or always) "Oriental" corpses, and that many had evidence of a bullet-hole in the skull. Medical students here protested, and it may have turned to the display of animal bodies--for now. This is yet another very ominous portent. One day relatively soon, we may be
their slave labor. We may even eventually adorn
their "museums" when we aren't suited to work. Stranger things have happened on Earth before...
I'm as serious as I know how to be on this. Please, can anyone tell me how to avoid buying Chinese products?
God Save U.S. & All,
AnneCatherine
