  • Bear in mind that many moved t oTexas just to break it off and to USA.....several were US Army in past...many were Freemasons.....not how most FE posters think the AMerican, pioneer sprits is "cool" and we are butt kickers, by golly.one guy states the obvious:

"The Mexicans were good Catholic boys and the Americans thieves who stole Texas were Protties. Why are you memorialising the "sacrifice" of thieving heretics? They deserved what they got"

  • What happened in Texas was a bunch of Anglo Saxon ILLEAGAL IMMIGRANTS moved in and revolted and managed to get a small number of Tejanos to join them (some of whom were Masons). They then stole the land from the barons, haciendados, and rancheros and gave it to rich Yankees like the Kennedy's (they got a big share of it). What they usually did was lease the land from the original owners and then stake a claim on it as if it were their own and bought it from the government for PENNIES on the dollar. How would the Pale Faces like it if I set up a shack on their land and filed a claim to it? I could then kick them into the street because the law says it's mine! As if the land wasnt enough, they took the teachers away from the Hispanic schools and forced them to teach Anglo Saxon children first and foremost, so many Hispanic children went without an education, and my great-grandma was one of those children! They had every intention of making sure Hispanics would be inferior to Anglos. Now they give us the pop culture to make ensure our death.

And they tell me I should be patriotic! I owe this open sepulcher of a nation NOTHING. It has taken a hundred times more than it has given. It will get what it has coming to it. HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF.

    Viva Cristo Rey!
    Viva Nueva Espana!
    Viva Texas!

Is that a wise crack, or a suggestion for historical research material. Who are they???

I agree, but I hope you don't begrudge the Spaniards.  I've met at least one minority Catholic who loathes the Spaniards, and I'm sure there are others, as if to this day they resent the nation who brought them Catholicism!  It makes you wonder if they have some kind of recidivist blood, some kind of incipient pull back to the paganism of their ancestors.

Readers: Please IGNORE all my postings here. I was a recent convert and fell into errors, even heresy for which hopefully my ignorance excuses. These include rejecting the "rhythm method," rejecting the idea of "implicit faith," and being brieflfy quasi-Jansenist. I also posted occasions of sins and links to occasions of sin, not understanding the concept much at the time, so do not follow my links.

I dont know how many times I've made it loud and clear that Im a Spaniard despite the fact my dad is Austrian! Im a Mestizo or Mixed, but Im still Hispanic. FYI Rauol, Hispanic is what you call someone of Spanish descent. What a lot of "Latinos" dont know is that they are Hispanic and not Aztecas or Latinos. Most of my family on my mother's side consider themselves "Mexican" because they are ignorant of the fact that they are actually Hispanic Tejanos (Texans). There is a difference between Aztecas, Cohuillans, and Mayans in Mexico and they are all the native peoples. Needless to say we have mixed together to some degree or another, however, the tribes still maintain their identity. What makes up the Mexican culture is the Spanish culture heading and guiding the native Indian cultures, but what is being done today is the erasing the "memory of the ancestors" by modernists so that "Latinos" forget who their ancestors actually were. My ancestors were Conquistadors and Rancheros, not Aztecs... but then I do have a some Cohuillan down the line.
