I would agree with Cub, except that the Catholics are no longer a giant. Yes, it's about money, but remember who is really behind this---satan. Take a look at the attacks on Christian holidays, morals, art, etc, etc. Why wouldn't he attempt to eradicate sacramentals, as well as sacraments, and use one of his many arms to accomplish it. And remember the rosary is at an all time low since V II.

I think you underestimate the strenght of the symbols being attacked by the suggestions in the article.

Even a far left secularist would stand up and denounce against such an intrusion into religious liberties on the grounds of individual freedom (something everyboby agrees on).
