A traditional priest taught me that it is wrong to speak as you support because I cannot proclaim that I am Pope.
He said it irks him when people walk around saying this and that baptized person isn't Catholic. We are not all little popes, entitled to such authority.
He said, rather, that we can say "his actions are not that of a Catholic person", or something similar.
Granted, that is the opinion of one priest and not the Church, but it made sense to me and that is the way I am going to stick with.
