Not only does this woman claim to be a "Christian." but also she says that abortion providers are "saints."

    Lord have mercy on us.

Episcopalian Church Priest Becomes President of National Pro-Abortion Organization
      Micaiah Bilger   Nov 6, 2019   |   4:34PM    Washington, DC

A woman who professes to be a Christian minister is leading one of the largest pro-abortion organizations in America.

Last week, the National Abortion Federation (NAF) announced that its board appointed the very Rev. Katherine Hancock Ragsdale as its new president. Ragsdale has been serving as interim president since 2018.

“It has been a great privilege to lead this organization for the last year and work alongside the incredible and dedicated NAF Board, staff and membership,” Ragsdale said in a statement. “Abortion providers are some of my personal heroes and modern-day saints.”

The NAF is an abortion training and advocacy group whose work openly defies Christian teachings about human value. It claims to promote “quality abortion care” through “accredited” education and training programs for abortion providers, and it boasts that Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion chain in America, is one of its members.

Ragsdale is an Episcopal priest whose work in abortion advocacy goes back many years. In 2012, LifeNews reported about how she testified against a Florida bill that would have protected children by making it a crime to transport a minor across state lines to circuмvent state laws requiring parental consent for an abortion. Such laws help to prevent the sɛҳuąƖ exploitation of children.

According to her biography at NAF, Ragsdale has promoted abortion in front of numerous state legislatures and spoke at the 2004 March for Women’s Lives in Washington, D.C. She also served on the national board of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, a pro-abortion group that uses clergy to try to legitimize the killing of unborn babies in abortions.

“Rev. Ragsdale has preached about how abortion is a blessing and has been active in clinic defense work and other activities to support abortion providers for more than 35 years,” her biography states.

Sue Carlisle, board chair of NAF, said they believe Ragsdale is the “best person for the job.”

“In her short time at NAF, Katherine has demonstrated her unwavering commitment to serving our members and her great vision for the future of NAF, the NAF Hotline Fund, and NAF Canada,” Carlisle said.

Despite its claims of being a caring, quality organization, NAF has been caught in the midst of numerous scandals, including the undercover investigation of baby body parts sales by the Center for Medical Progress and Philadelphia abortionist and convicted murderer Kermit Gosnell.

In 2009, Gosnell applied for membership in the NAF but was rejected because of the dismal quality of his abortion facility. However, the NAF apparently never reported the horrific things it saw at Gosnell’s abortion facility to authorities. A few years later, Gosnell was convicted of murdering newborn babies, contributing to the death of a patient and numerous other abortion-related crimes.

Ragsdale is not helping women or families through her new role at NAF, nor is she following the Christian faith that she claims to practice. Abortions hurt families and destroy babies’ lives, and Christianity teaches that every human life is valuable and worthy of protection.

  • You know, the good Christians in that sect --- and they are there --- just need to come out of it and come into the Catholic Church.  Many of them even use the term "Catholic" to describe themselves.

And I know some people on this list don't find this agreeable, but there is an ordinariate in the Church created just for them.  So in some sense of the word, they don't even have to quit being "Anglican".  A win-win all the way around.

  • You know, the good Christians in that sect --- and they are there ---
They are everywhere, not just in that sect, however, they are near impossible to convert because they do not want to give up their "little white rabbits":

Johnnie and His Little White Rabbit

"The father of the house came home and called all his children together. He then told them if they gathered up all of their toys, every single last one of them, and gave them away to the poor, that he would then buy them new toys, much more toys, and better toys. However, they had to give away every single toy or else they would not get anything.

The next day the father came home and found a big pile of toys stacked in the living room. He asked the children; is that all the toys, every single last one of them? All the children answered yes, but Johnnie. Johnnie was holding his hands behind his back. His father asked him, Johnnie, did you put all your toys in the pile? Johnnie answered yes, father. The father asked him, Johnnie, what do you have behind your back, show me your hands. Then Johnnie showed his little white stuffed rabbit, his favorite companion. His father said, Johnnie, remember, in order to get  the new toys, much more toys than you have now, better toys, you have to give everything away, everything Johnnie. Johnnie answered back, no Daddy, not my little white rabbit, no, I can’t give him away".

(The father is Our Lord Jesus Christ, the toys are man’s earthly attachments which cause them to never receive sanctifying grace or to lose it. The new gifts are sanctifying grace and ultimately eternal bliss in Heaven)

St. Peter Julian Eymard – Bad Catholic vs Good Protestant

People often say, “It is better to be a good Protestant than a bad Catholic.” That is not true! That would mean that one could be saved without the true faith. No. A bad Catholic remains a child of the family, although a prodigal; and however great a sinner he may be, he still has a right to mercy. Through his faith, a bad Catholic is nearer to God than a Protestant, for he is a member of the household, whereas the heretic is not. And how hard it is to make him become one!

For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. Mat 24:24
