The McAvoy book clears Rampolla. I will get it out and post relevant passages in time. Yes-- Msg jouin was wrong about Card Rampolla. Read Was Rampolla A Freemason by Don Ricossa-- The Article has been posted here b4 although I can't remember where it is. Pius X was Not by any means about to sack Card Raphael-- especially at the behest of Rampolla.
I wouldn't bother debunking that one. There is a very respectable man by the name of Louis Hubert Remy, who has a critique of Fr. Ricossa's article "Was Cardinal Rampolla a Feremason?" on his website. Although Remy did not write that article he was personally aquainted with Bishop Jouin. Remy and an associate were also the first ones to confront Cardinal Siri in 1985 about having been elected Pope in 1985.Only problem is it is in French. I saw it last summer but never had the time to try and translate it.http://www.a-c-r-f.com/principal.htmlscroll down til you see this, that is the article.SOUS LA BANNIÈRE, n° 144, juillet-AOÛT 2009,pages 20-31INFILTRATIONS DANS L’ÉGLISEpar FÉLIX CAUSASPublié avec la permission de l'auteur

Well the theory never got any legs but here is snippet of it here from a very old newspaper.http://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/cgi-bin/paperspast?a=d&d=AG19200109.2.3&l=mi&e=-------10--1----0--
