    • They just released the results of a study on the efficacy of masks.

    6,000 people.

    3K wore masks
    3K did not

    An equal number in each group ended up contracting COVID-19.

    Conclusion:
    The recommendation to wear surgical masks to supplement other public health measures did not reduce the SARS-CoV-2 infection rate among wearers by more than 50% in a community with modest infection rates, some degree of social distancing, and uncommon general mask use. The data were compatible with lesser degrees of self-protection.

    • HIV is a virus and it was said, in the 80's , that the virus was so small it could go through a porcelain cup.

    And did it ever occur to us, that maybe masks could come with the virus. sabotage.

    • Songbird doubt it have been forced to wear a masks as a healthcare worker and we get masks from everywhere.

    • Seriously, if masks did work, then why didn't Americans wear them en masse every Flu season, in lieu of a flu shot?

    Why don't doctors, surgeons, nurses, and other health care workers wear them during their entire shift -- don't they encounter lots of bugs on-the-job? If masks worked, I mean, and did more good than harm?
