Surely all of us as Christians should be ashamed of our sins and ask forgiveness of God and others?

St Paul said that we should pray perpetually and isnt a big part of prayer seeking forgiveness?

I can perfectly understand why someone would have admiration for Bishop Williamson just not for certain of his opinions (though I guess you could admire his courage in publically expressing them).

Other examples of double standards:

Democracy means the majority must rule and decide.
The majority of people are male. (105 males to 100 females)
Then why are they against patriarchy?

Eco fans say that man has no right to rule over animals.
That man is equal to and one of the animals.
lions, tigers and eagles eat/kill other spieces.
So why can't human beings eat/kill ducks?

If man is not superior to a bird, why should he ask permission before entering a place, when a raven needs not to do so?

Dante and many others believe that adultery is the least of sins as it is caused by love.
Some people apostate because they are in love with a heretic.
Some people commit murder to please their sweet hearts.
Some others steal to buy a precious gift for a loved one.
Some lie and commit perjury for the sake of love.
Others commit ѕυιcιdє for love.
It follows that are above are little, petty and cute sins if we are to reason like Dante.
