And this on the eve of World War III -- heaven help us all!

We need a holy, fearless pope like St. Pius X who could put the evil men in their place. Alas, God sends us the Popes (as well as Bishops, Priests) that we deserve. Perhaps the world is ripe for a chastisement.

Like the situation with the SSPX, the persecuted Underground Catholics need to maintain their fidelity to the unchanging Faith established by Christ, even if it means disobeying the Pope.

The Pope has no right whatsoever to tell Catholics to capitulate to evil and atheism! The Chinese government isn't just imperfect, it's evil incarnate! There is no way for a Catholic to live his faith in obedience to some of China's laws -- and the government there is in violation of natural law, so obedience is quite optional.

It's nice that Benedict XVI personally feels the need to group hug all the Communist bishops and so forth, but he has no right to betray the good Catholics who are fighting for their Faith!

I don't think the Motu Proprio will do much at all to end this crisis -- the chastisement is at hand, and there will be much suffering for good and bad people.

The Mother of God predicted it at Fatima, and I believe her. Mark my words, it is coming, and soon. Economic devastation, natural disasters, tyrannical government, and WAR the likes of which we haven't seen in 60 years.

As for Pope Benedict XVI, may God's will be done in him, and in all of us.
